Half Time Killer Show

 For someone who lives in international communities, I have been terrible at joining into activities involving sports I do not know well. In fact, I think I missed out on a lot when working at Cotopaxi as I did not try to get involved with American Football and then missed out on a lot of activities.  I did not need to learn about the game, just not insult it, and then maybe I would have been invited to all the super Sunday parties they had.  I have turned over a new leaf and decided to embrace the Superbowl when Megan invited us to a party to watch it.  I did not watch anything but the Half time show but had a great time.  First, it is more about socializing, eating, and drinking, all things I am good at.  But even better the Half time show was the best ever.  Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dog, I mean really it does not get much better than that.  Sebastian and I danced through the entire thing.

The Dream Team Outing

 Saturday afternoon, Sebastian and I were lucky enough to go out on The Dream Team.  I am so happy for the Andresen's.  It is a beautiful boat and will help them to explore the 700 islands in this region.  We met up with some other boats and had a big dance party.  It was totally unplanned and a lovely day out.

I am looking forward to many more adventures on the boat before we jet off on our next adventure in Thailand.

Saturday Morning Playdate

 Alex and Sebastian have such a nice time together.  Now that Alex is going to the same school they are even more excited to get together outside of school.  Saturday morning we met them at Garden of the Groves for a morning play and lunch.

Friday Work Social

 After a long week of inspections at work, we were treated to a work social at Vikki's gorgeous house on the beach.  Vikki is the Head of Secondary and is basically fabulous, I am sure I will never work with someone as relaxed as her ever again.  Her family's house is just beautiful and it was nice to have an unwind with people from work that I very rarely see.

A great start to the weekend.

Happy Birthday Dad

 There is very rarely a day that I do not think about either of my parents.  I not only miss them tremendously but also just feel so sad that Sebastian missed out on having them a part of his life and vice versa.  I know they would have adored him.  Yesterday, was my fathers birthday so ofc course had a moment or two remembering him and how special he was.  I also had several reminder from all the different names he created on Facebook and none which he used (that made me laugh so much as just like him).

This is one that I found on his multiple pages and I love it!

And here is Sebastian powering on his bicycle. This boy is scarly brave, fiercly independent, will most certainly be an athlete and of course scholar amongst other things.  All traits my father had, he even eats chips like my Dad (less desirable trait), and we are hoping his hand writing is better!  Miss you Dad!

Friday Sand Bar

 I believe this is a record for me, a week without posting!  Just shows the first week of February has been pretty repetitive and nothing much to share.  I have taken so little pictures as well which is so unlike me.  Back on it now, as I cannot stand having a certain amount of posts a week.  It was a beautiful weekend, starting off with Friday drinks with friends from work.  It was one of those off chance things and a great way to start the weekend.  The rest was beach and family time.  

The last week of February will be much busier with a last minute surprise guest or two arriving.  I am so excited!
