Phuket, Thailand!

I have to start by saying how annoyed I am at google, firstly as they have blocked me from my old blog but mostly that I am still going to use their platform (mainly as I understand how to use it, and am so annoyed I have not posted in a week!).
But in some ways it is good to start a fresh, and now Luis is part of our family he needed a mention in the title.  In the off chance that anyone else, other then my family and friends read this (even then this is a push) I should give a little background.  For five years me and my fabulous dog Lola have documented our travels in and around both Switzerland and Ecuador (I have been teaching in International schools) on our blog www.amandaandlola.blogspot.com.  We had some amazing adventures and I have loved writing about them.  Two years ago Luis came into our lives and we have not looked back since!  We were married last month (pictures will be posted), and we have all just moved to Phuket Thailand so that I can start a new job at the British International School in Phuket and Luis to pursue his dream of becoming a dive instructor.
We both left Ecuador last week, but Luis a day earlier than me and Lola.  The flights were painful, fifty hours on planes and airports, Lola having the worst time of it.  But we all made by Sunday night and have been super busy ever since.  We have managed to secure somewhere to live, but probably no longer than six months.  We do love the house, but last night I did not sleep a wink thinking about the lack of a big patio and a bit worried with the location.  However, it is lovely and our land lords amazing and a good place to start.  Tomorrow we will move in and more photos will follow.  First impressions, the school is amazing, I have never ever seen anything like it.  The beaches are beautiful and well do I really have to say anything about the food!

This is not  our house or we would stay forever

I get this sneaky feeling we will be very happy here!
