Babies Reunited

It has been far too long since we have seen some of these babies and we even got to meet another baby girl yesterday at Aloni's house.  Sebastian was super duper excited and laughed and played the entire time.  I just wish we could see each other more often as it clearly benefits the babies so much.  Sebastian was desperate to show them he can almost crawl and was so close so many times. He did impress them with his standing skills, holding onto something of course.  It was a lovely afternoon and I was so happy to see almost everyone (Sarah and Salyn were sadly absent).

It was such a nice get-together and I must ensure that it happens much more frequently!

Island Adventure Yao Noi

This is one of our favourite spots and I still cannot believe it took us three years to get there (first time last May when pregnant with Sebastian) and now almost a year later for the second time.  It is so close to get too and easy peasy even for a day trip.  We took Sam and Nick there as the views are just spectacular and we knew it would be good for their Insta!

It really is just the most beautiful spot and we must try and get there more often before we go.  It is so close to Phuket but yet so different.

Sunsets and Baby time

We have been so so busy that I have not found anytime to write about our adventures.  Beaching it, blue treeing it, teaching Sebastian to crawl, well it has just been crazy busy.  We had a great time South, but it was so so busy, I cannot believe they say tourism is down here.  It certainly is not in the South, that is for sure.  I was happy to return North and my 5km radius!  We have enjoyed another beautiful day in the sun and then went to watch a lovely sunset.

I love having them here! We have had just such a good time with them.

Simon Cabaret

We have headed down South for a couple days to show Nick and Sam a different part of the island.  Last night we took them for a quick drink in the infmaous Patong and then headed to see Simon Cabaret show.  We had been to a similar show close to our place a few years ago and I can say this one was 100 times better.  The performers were all engaged and looked like they were having a great time as were we.

We first went to big Buddha to have a look at the views.

 Buckets for everyone

 The Tuk tuk ride.

We had a very busy day, ticking lots of Phuket boxes.  Really would recommend the show if ever in Phuket.

Nick and Sam

Never a dull moment here. A few days after the pet sitters left and Nicholas and Sam arrived.  Nicholas is my first cousin's son and Sam is his wonderful boyfriend.  It has been a busy start to 2020 and we would not want it any other way.  I think they might have thought they were coming for a relaxing holiday, but I am not sure who they thought they were visiting.  We have ten jam packed full days starting with a the beach today and a Caribbean dinner this evening.  A great first day of the many to follow.
 The hello this morning.
 The beach.
 Sebastian and Aunt Jacqui

Quinlan and Sebastian, exactly one year a part.

Sebastian hanging out with the big boys.  It is so great to have Sam and Nic with us and a really good start to their trip with a small gathering of some great people.

Pet Sitters

We have gone away quite a bit since I have been on maternity leave.  People may start to think, what about poor Lola.. Hence this post..  Lola actually loves when we go now, as she gets totally spoilt rotten by the people looking after her.  The website we use is just amazing, the people that have stayed here more than often become friends and well it is just a great idea.  Robi and Stu came from Australia to look after Lola when we were in Myanmar, their 97th house sit.  Lola could not have been better looked after and our minds more at ease.  They sent about ten photos and updates a day but the pictures were like this..

Such a lovely touch and just shows how cared for she was.  To be fair all have been great.  So Lola is still a happy pup, even when we are away.  Love her!
